We have reinstated the majority of our working area in Fordbridge Park and Woodthorpe Gardens. There is still some fencing in place both areas. This is to protect the reinstated vegetation, to ensure they fully recover and grow. It is important that we reinstate vegetation in the most appropriate season to allow the best conditions for the vegetation to survive and grow. We will return in the next available season to complete the final sections of reinstatement in Fordbridge Park and Woodthorpe Gardens. We will also remove the fencing once the areas have sufficiently recovered. We are committed to 5 years of aftercare for the reinstated vegetation.

We re-laid the topsoil across our working area after completing installation, and now the land is being left to naturally regenerate. This is to allow the natural / existing seedbed to establish. Natural regeneration has been identified as the most appropriate and environmentally beneficial method of reinstatement in this area. These plans are agreed with the landowner.
