Through early conversations with relevant local authorities, parish councils, and environmental bodies and the work of our team of engineering and environmental experts, we have identified a number of potential corridors called ‘Options’ – three to the south of Esso’s Alton Pumping Station and three to the north of the Alton Pumping Station. Details of these corridors can be found in the Corridor Options section.

We are now consulting on these corridor options.

The consultation closes at 23:45 on 30th April, 2018.

Next steps

After this consultation closes, an independent company will review and analyse all responses. This consultation specialist will produce a report on the views shared by respondents, highlighting any issues and concerns. This report, along with other information, will help us inform and validate decisions on a preferred pipeline corridor.

The report will be published on our website and we will notify respondents when it is available.

We will also publish our responses to the issues raised in the consultation. We are grateful for all contributions, but we will not be responding individually to everyone taking part in the consultation.
